As the sun set over Walnut Creek Lake, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful maternity session with a growing family of three, soon to be four! The golden light reflecting off the lake added a peaceful and warm glow to every shot, creating a stunning backdrop for this session.

Mama-to-be looked absolutely radiant in her vibrant orange dress, which highlighted her baby bump perfectly. The color popped against the natural greenery and golden grasses that surrounded us, giving each photo a rich, autumnal feel. Her dress flowed gracefully with the breeze, adding a touch of elegance and movement to the shots.

Big brother wasn’t quite sure about my camera at first. He looked on with curiosity and a bit of hesitation. But after some time and a little coaxing, he warmed up to the idea, and soon we were capturing some heartwarming smiles. You can tell he’s going to be a wonderful big brother! The love and joy shared between Mom, Dad, and Big Brother was undeniable, making this session truly special.

We started the session by the tall grass, which added texture and warmth to the photos. As the light dipped lower, we moved toward the water’s edge, where the soft reflections created a serene and intimate atmosphere. The entire session was filled with golden light, laughter, and quiet moments of connection between this sweet family as they eagerly await their newest addition.
